In Queen Anne’s County, there is only one mental health provider for every 951 residents, leaving community members lacking resources, support, and access to timely appointments. Here at The Santé Group Eastern Shore, our goal is to fill that void.

Crisis Hotline
Crises can happen any time of day, sometimes without warning. Our crisis hotline is available 24/7 to provide support as you or your loved one navigates a behavioral or mental health crisis. Staffed by licensed counselors and therapists, we will connect you with the community resources and care required for stability and recovery.

Mobile Crisis Team
Our Mobile Crisis Team is prepared 24/7 for immediate dispatch in behavioral or mental health crises. Once on-site, our two-person team will implement relief efforts and coordinate community resources to ensure sustainable healthcare needs are met and long-term recovery is possible.

Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) & Education
Our CIT Team's educational and training services are designed to educate first responders on how to approach mental health crises on the front lines. We prepare these individuals to conduct basic suicide interventions and other mental health services, including Mental Health First Aid, Trauma-Informed Care, scenario training, and site visits to community providers.

Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM)
When an individual, group, or community experiences a traumatic event or natural disaster, our Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) Team is prepared to provide support, debriefings, and stress management. We serve throughout the crisis to ensure individuals receive the care and resources they need.

Mobile Crisis Stabilization Service (MCSS)
Our Mobile Crisis Stabilization Service (MCSS) works with the Department of Social Services to support youth and their families in the foster or kinship care system. We equip families with stabilization strategies to de-escalate a crisis and provide connection to essential community resources to ensure you and your family are supported as you strive for lasting stability.
Families and youth must be referred by their local Department of Social Services to receive MCSS services.

Mobile Response Stabilization Services (MRSS)
Utilizing a family-centered approach, our Mobile Response Stabilization Service (MRSS) program provides crisis response and stabilization to youth and their families. Bolstered by existing regional and county services, we support families with crisis de-escalation strategies, short-term stabilization, and strategic coaching to prevent and diffuse future crises.
