Our Peer-Led Safe Station Program is dedicated to serving individuals seeking recovery from drug addiction. Upon arriving at the Caroline County Sheriff’s Office, individuals seeking support will be paired with a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist to begin their journey to recovery.
The Safe Station Program serves residents of Caroline County and all neighboring counties and is available to individuals suffering from all forms of addiction and substance use.

School-Based Intervention

CIT provides education and training services to first responders, law enforcement, education systems, and other organizations to prepare individuals to conduct basic suicide interventions and other emergency mental health services when necessary.
In addition, our CIT Coordinator is available to work directly with law enforcement agencies to develop tailored and relevant training for officers and first responders throughout the Eastern Shore.

Mobile Response Stabilization Service (MRSS)

Our Mobile Crisis Stabilization Service (MCSS) supports youth and their families in the foster or kinship care system. Our MCSS team provides families with stabilization strategies to de-escalate a crisis and identify beneficial community resources to effectively support the youth and family on their road to stability.
Families and youth must be referred by their local Department of Social Services to receive MCSS services.
